  • Oversee a staff of 17 engineers, draftsmen and test lab technicians
  • Re-organized department to increase productivity and efficiency
  • Implemented Stage-gate methodology and concurrent engineering practices
  • Prepare and manage department budget
  • Developed new systems for Engineering Documentation Control
  • As a result of these efforts, oversaw the design and development of 18 new products over the past 5 years
  • During that same period, oversaw the completion of 17 major product improvements
  • YKK AP Representative to the U.S.G.B.C. (U.S. Green Building Council)
  • 2003 – 2005; YKK AP America, Austell, GA, Manager – Curtain Wall Design
